Urgent Request for Information
 
** There have been reports of stolen goods from a member of the public who attended
Grosvenor's last auction on Tuesday 21 April 2015.
A briefcase containing the items is suspected to have been taken off a train in the
East Croydon area. British Transport Police and Sussex Police have been made aware.

Lot 509: Carrier Stamps: London Express Parcels Delivery Company Ltd.: 1864
imperforate 1d, no control, perforated 1d. (3) with control, also printed leaflet
with scale of charges, mixed condition. (5 items)
Lot 514: Carrier Stamps: A selection comprising Mercer’s Liverpool 1912 3d. pair,
4d. strip of three used, W. Williams & Sons 1880 3d. used (scarce), A.W. White & Co.
Portsmouth 1d. mint and used, 2d. mint, Maiun Parcel Co., Manchester 2d. used, mixed

We have had reports that Bill Pipe, John Perriman and Roy Holliss t/a Cover Love
each had items stolen from the Potters Bar Stamp Fair last Sunday April 19 2015.
 
 
Bill had a group of GB Naval covers taken, John a stockbook of Bavarian Stamps and
Roy, a group of GB covers including a unique Parcel Post label franked with 7 x QV
GOVT. PARCELS 11/2 d. stamps on a label from Woolwich, a hand-illustrated [3 people
+dog] on 1d. Plate 188 QV cover from Woolwich and a small number of Parcel Post
Receipts from the Woolwich or Dartford areas.
